I worked under the management of the EXPLORE collaboration between York University, Goethe University, and the University of Alberta. As a gravitational wave data analyst, I was in charge of extracting raw data from the LIGO observatory to clean and filter it using Numpy and Pandas, followed by the use of advanced signal processing using GWpy for pinpointing meaningful gravitational wave signals through Fourier analysis and matched filtering.I developed regression models using Scipy, where I calculated uncertainties and confidence intervals to refine the parameter estimates of the models.Finally, my efforts were encapsulated in monthly reports, serving as future references, and I presented the findings during the EXPLORE yearly conference.
