"What's your back up plan?" This is a question that I've received more times than I can remember from friends, family, and even from my dentist. When I decided to take a video production class during my freshman year of high school, I immediately fell in love with the magic of film. Whether it was writing the script, shooting film, recording sound, or editing the footage, I loved every part of the filmmaking process. This is what sparked my passion for pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.Long before this, I was just a kid obsessed with movies. What amazed me so much, and still does to this day, is that films have the ability to invoke strong emotion onto the audience as well as teach them life lessons. My one and only goal is to create compelling stories and to answer the question stated above, I don't have a backup plan. I know getting into the entertainment industry is difficult, but my passion for film has pushed me from an early start, and I have worked for multiple companies in the entertainment and advertising world in hopes of progressing my career to its fullest. As I progress through my journey, here are some accomplishments that I've achieved:🎞 Producing global advertising content by creating bids using Hot Budgets, renting equipment, and scheduling shoots🎞 Planning and creating a pitch deck for the CEO of a large brand. I used Photoshop to create a unique deck that aligned with the mood and ideals of the brand, which was then approved by the executives.🎞 Coordinating and assisting in large scale shoots in every way possible (PA, sound mixing, gaffing, etc.)🎞 Directing, shooting, and editing a documentary for a film festival. I won the award for "Best Film" in the documentary category.🎞 Creating a film exploring Schizophrenia. I did extensive research and ended up writing, shooting, and editing an 18 minute long film project where I was able to piece together an emotional story conveying a life with schizophrenia.🎞 Planning a table read for a feature film. It started and ended on time, and went very smoothly.
