As part of the video product line, I design and implement various features for broadcast TV test equipment. These features which are targeted for FPGAs and software include various audio andvideo DSP functions as well as external memory and other high speed interfaces. I also develop and maintain implementation infrastructure. I am frequently called on by other designers to create complex scripts and software. I was awarded the 2013 President's Award for technical excellence.

Portland, Or

I was a member of the implementation group which performs synthesis, design for test, static timing analysis, and automatic test pattern generation. This required collaboration with engineers at multiple sites in North America and India as well as international travel to India and Canada. I did synthesis, design for test and static timing analysis for two critical blocks that targeted TSMC’s 65nm process. I also developed an implementation flow that automatically reported statistics and progress via a web interface using a Mysql database to store the information.
