• Partner with start-up coordinators and perform start-up, commissioning and operations for the gasification power block at Kemper County’s Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) facility. • Completed initial plant walk-downs as a first hired member of the start-up and commissioning team for the Kemper project. Worked with a small team to receive, label, and stage the installation of new equipment.• Work as a certified Control Board Operator and a qualified Console Operator; operate the control board equipped with Emerson's Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS.)• Sought after by unit operators for outside issue resolution.
