I am a lifetime musician, and graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music production and engineering in the spring of 2017. Since graduation, I have worked heavily as a live sound engineer and as a freelance musician, including small and large-scale concerts, weddings, and various other events, primarily in the Houston area. I also have my own music project under the alias “Colin, the Rocket Scientist”, and released my debut, self-titled album in October 2020 on all platforms.

    Worked between 10-20 hours each week performing duties including, but not limited to:-Engineering live shows for broadcast for touring, local, and Berklee artists. This included setup, soundcheck, and mixing the show, which would be broadcasted live through Berklee's internet radio station. These shows were often also videotaped, and videos would be uploaded to the BIRN's YouTube channel.-Mixing broadcast for live shows for local and touring artists at Berklee's Cafe 939 venue. Shows would be broadcast live through the BIRN, and hosted live by me.-Assisted the broadcast mixer for shows for NPR radio when shows at Cafe 939 were being recorded for NPR.-Re-mixed shows that were broadcast that needed to be re-mixed.-Engineered and edited interviews in post, ensuring the best possible audio quality to be uploaded for use by the BIRN.-Assisted DJ's with troubleshooting when technical difficulties arose at the station.-Maintained the studio by cleaning weekly.-In the 2 years before becoming staff engineer, held and hosted my own weekly radio show, assisted in engineering, and occasionally shot video for live room projects.
