Listed below are chronological milestones in my career life:From 2009 to 2011, worked in Lightinthebox.com as Customer Service, B2B sales rep, and then Project Manager of Dropinthebox.com, I set a record of sales of 1.4 million dollars for 1 single year and was promoted twice for good performance. From 2012 to late 2013, I started my own business for the first time and created godropshipping.com as the CEO of the company. And later the project was proven to be too ahead of its time and lack of basic vertical infrastructure to work on. The failure of this venture should be attributed mainly to lack of funds, and most importantly me personally as the leader, had underestimated the level of complexity of running an online dropshipping business model without prior experience and lack of management skills.Starting 2014 to 2018, the most important and uplifting phase of my career happened in Cheetah Mobile, which I think had "exploited" my potential to the fullest for digital marketing, management, and public relations management. I took the lead of a Facebook optimizer team of 12 members and created over 600 million dollars revenue with a record of advertisers' continuation rate of 82%( understand this rate as a rate of my customers who are willing to keep spending on account of our professional service). From 2019 to 2020, Bozon Tech is another startup company of mine specialized in online distribution of adult (sex) products. This startup generated 1.2 million dollar revenue in a 8 months life span, which I was very proud of. My team and I have ventured into a new territory we had never explored before (my prior focus were Google and Facebook)and it was a ravishingly new and exciting experience. The whole operation experienced an abrupt stop when COVID-19 hit us off guard which brought a devastating loss to this startup. From 2020 to the end of 2021, I was recruited by Shopline and took the DGM role.Working for Shopline is life changing, not only I need to take bigger resposiblities, it's also as challenging as it gets for me to transform from a small team lead to a GM role. The transformation is painful at the same time fruitful. I am to this day very graful to all the awesome people I had been working with. And personal growth I gained from this chapter of my career is unparalled. None of my previous jobs had as profound an impact as Shopline.
