I’m the Founder & CEO at Tenant Law Group, a law firm providing legal services to California renters. We help California tenants who have been illegally evicted, harassed, or forced to endure unlivable conditions recover money from their landlords. Additionally, we offer low-cost, flat-fee attorney consultations for any type of tenant rights legal issue, question, or problem.I’m passionate about entrepreneurship, trial advocacy, and social justice. Although I was a practicing attorney in the firm from 2016 to 2020, I now dedicate 100% of my time to running the firm. As CEO, I focus primarily on recruiting and retaining top legal talent from around the world, attracting and onboarding new clients, building the firm’s technological infrastructure, overseeing all firm finances, and continuing to scale the firm to serve approximately seventeen million California renters.In less than eight years, my team and I have grown Tenant Law Group from a de facto solo practice to the largest law firm in California (and possibly in the United States) dedicated exclusively to the representation of tenants. Originally founded as Toscano Law Group in January 2016, the firm rebranded as Tenant Law Group in late 2017 to focus exclusively on the representation of tenants. In 2019, the firm moved to a fully virtual setup to serve renters throughout California and attract the best legal talent from around the world.Today, the firm has grown to forty-six legal professionals hailing from eight states and seven countries—a team that is both majority female and majority minority. While our clients include renters from all backgrounds, we are especially dedicated to those who are most vulnerable—namely, the indigent, the elderly, immigrants, blue-collar workers, and individuals with disabilities.Nowadays my passions are entrepreneurship, friends, family, and fitness.
