Helped develop a microfluidic airway-on-a-chip system to use in pre-clinical studies for COPD in correspondence with the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation (HLI) at St Paul's Hospital. • Created scripts to automatically quantify cell morphology and viability at different depths. • Performed CFD modelling with COMSOL to optimize the chip design for compatibility to scale-up & model diffusion limitations.
