Claims Service Representative
Claim management, which includes: Bill processing, compensation processing as directed by the Workers Compensation Board of the State of New York, information gathering and determining liability of a claim, claim information management, coordinating private investigations, fraud detection, review and interpretation of Workers Compensation Law, acting as a representative of NYSIF to outside agencies and the public in matters of policy and procedure, setting up Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) to determine the best course of treatment for compensable injuries as well as determine extent of liability, record retention, and other office duties related to injury benefits and Workers Compensation claims processing. Use of Windows 7 Professional and related Office software and extensive claims management software.
