Driven, motivated, and enthusiastic about my career in cybersecurity. A former law enforcement professional for 11+ years, with the last 5+ of those years in a technology related role in law enforcement. I am proud to have joined the community of my peers within cybersecurity, and provide a service by managing and securing the technology used by multiple agencies.I am interested in enriching my knowledge base and surrounding myself with engaging, informative, and motivated team members and colleagues to help cultivate my ambition to strengthen my abilities and the abilities of those around me.Currently I’m obsessed with expanding my knowledge in cybersecurity, as I transitioned out of law enforcement to a role as a cybersecurity specialist. I expanded my Digital Forensics capabilities in the form of incident response, building on how I used those skills for investigations. I now work toward bettering overall cyber maturity posture in conjunction with my agency’s goals and work on a wide array of technical and non technical cybersecurity projects.I look forward to applying my experiences within my cybersecurity role by implementing efficient and effective technologies and security best practices for the future of my agency and agency partners, striving to keep those systems secure in an ever changing environment, and utilizing forensics for incident response as needed.
