I am currently the Children's Pastor here at APLBC. I implement the yearly calendar, staff volunteers, and work with staff to run a successful Children's and Pre-school ministry. We average 30-50 on Sundays and Wednesday and we use dynamic curriculum along with energetic leaders to teach children to memorize scripture and follow after Christ. In my time at APLBC I have also started an Outreach Team, Welcome Team, Parking Crew, and Upward Sports. Our goal is to offer our community a safe place to bring their children that is Christ centered and pushes families to Christ.

At Town Creek Baptist Church, I was integral in implementing the yearly Children's Ministry calendar as well as other key areas and events that started or continued under my leading. The Children's Ministry saw an average of 25-30 children on Sundays and Wednesdays. They were encouraged and discipled in studying and memorizing scripture through Awana, Sunday School, and Wednesday night meetings. On our Wednesday night meetings, I integrated Bible games that had a Biblical message tied into each game. Instead of VBS at church I took it into the community where we lead a VBS type camp at a local park. I also continued a sports camp that would focus on a different sport each day while showing that sports can be played to honor Christ. I lead a 12-week summer camp schedule that saw a different theme camp every week over the summer. The camps were open to the public and were for any child on summer break. Some of the themes of the camps included Equine, Sports, Gardening, Spanish, Art week, and Music camps. I also helped integrate the Children's Ministry with other ministries such as Kids Choir, Operation Christmas Child, Trail Life and American Heritage Girls. I brought the Fall and Spring Festivals back with great success which would see anywhere from 400-600 people and were growing every year. Other events like minor league baseball games were to serve as fellowship opportunities for the church body. I also started Upward soccer which grew from 63 to 87 in just two seasons. I lead a small group at my home and lead an adult Sunday School class for adults who were nourished and pushed Biblically. I lead a Halloween Alternative that intended to take the Gospel outside the church where each home became a "Light house" to be THE light on a dark night. I also taught a class in the school, was a substitute teacher, and drove the bus when needed.

After graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary my family and I felt the Lord calling us to Aiken, SC to be their C.R.E.O. Pastor. We were blessed to be a part of a dynamic, conservative, Bible-believing group of believers that was willing to put God first and reach others for Christ. We are excited for what the Lord is doing in our lives and in the lives of our faith family. We cannot wait to see what all He is going to do.

AT MVP Sports Factory I was the Sports and League Director. This required me to administer soccer leagues for over 100 youth teams and 20 adult teams throughout the year. We also offered soccer, basketball, tennis, and baseball for youth for which I hired and trained employees, set the curriculum, oversaw classes and handled scheduling issues. I started at this company as a coach and worked my way into a full time position over leagues.

I started at MVP Sports Factory implementing the soccer programs as a coach. With my recreation background I quickly became a lead coach and was scheduled for every class available.

Before heading to Wake Forest, North Carolina for graduate school I worked as the High School, Middle School, and Recreation Minister at First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. I oversaw administration to build a successful Student Ministry alongside the other youth staff. We saw the Middle School Ministry rapidly grow during my time there, and was over the yearly scheduling of camps, retreats, lesson plans, curriculum, and vision with the outcome of discipleship for each individual involved. Our goal was not to set up programs to keep people busy but to encourage a lifestyle that followed Jesus.

At First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina I assisted the Recreation Minister in further developing and implementing the Upward Sports programs that had its origin at the church. We also provided the awards banquets with top speakers and professional athletes to assist the ministry in its vision. Along with Upward Sports we hosted different festivals and alternatives throughout the year. I also lead many family trips and started an open gym basketball ministry that could see 100 non-members on Wednesday nights.
