Maintained a custom Loan Origination application built using EJB 2, JSP, and the Workpoint BPM engine.

Implemented a variety of solutions for the Tenet Patient Financial Services division. Software was built in Java, running on the IBM iSeries. Also integrated a Syntellect IVR system with the iSeries and custom Java applications.Led the effort to modernize development processes. Introduced CVS for version control, installed it on an iSeries Linux partition, and handled the administration and maintenance of it. Also installed Bugzilla and rolled it out to the development organization.

Maintained and enhanced The Eye Explorer, an application used for Retail analytics and planning. Desktop application was built in Java/Swing, and used a spreadsheet-like interface. Implemented complex business logic, such as formulas and integration with iSeries-based back-office software.Assisted with the transition from IBM's Visual Age to Eclipse as the team's development environment. This also necessitated moving from a "version tracking" scheme to a true version control system. Installed CVS for this purpose, and helped administer it. Installed and configured Anthill, an early Continuous Integration system, based on Ant.
