As the Project Team Manager, I coordinate the efforts of a team of six to complete all enterprise governance and compliance projects within the RSA Archer platform on a two-year roadmap. This includes the on-boarding and training of new talent to meet the growing needs of the banking industry and maintaining strong ties with business partners throughout the bank. I collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers and quality assurance specialists to ensure all project work is completed on time. As a senior team leader, I help foster and maintain a set of best practices and develop checklists to help improve project quality. Worked with various business lines as an expert in automation and technology for risk and compliance solutions within the RSA Archer platform, including collecting requirements, design, quality assurance and implementation. Spearheaded the creation of an enterprise-wide user experience update to create a default landing page and enhanced layout, as well as a workflow tracker that relies on custom web design, all of which function seamlessly within the Archer solution.

Served as primary liaison, project manager and content strategist for high-profile clients including the Star Tribune (Minneapolis), Union-Tribune (San Diego) and Sun-Times (Chicago), along with other media and sports organizations. Managed a team of five full-time employees and more than 40 part-time employees to ensure clients received thorough and accurate statistics, schedules and viable content strategy solutions. Collaborated with development and sales teams to find solutions for internal and external stakeholders, and developed and carried out plans of action to prioritize and address all areas. Implemented strategies to improve efficiencies of daily operations for statistics and scheduling teams. Utilized HTML/CSS and Javascript skillset to enhance functionality of Sport Ngin CMS, as well as provide regular maintenance to client websites. Oversaw and directed the rollout of 20 prep sports websites.

Created graphics, managed websites, produced content and utilized HTML/CSS knowledge to enhance the Star Tribune’s prep sports websites. Fostered relationships with other media clients and promoted growth of overall website sales. Helped establish SportsEngine as one of the forerunners in online prep sports stat collection and content production.

Managed graphics department and directed the overall design and layout of the newspaper’s print product and websites, including the daily layout of page one and creation of accompanying graphics. Received national praise for unique page and section layouts from various design and journalism outlets. Collaborated with team members on the creation of a nightlife website that was later adopted by the Gannett Wisconsin Media group.

Provided daily layout and design of pages for the Green Bay Press-Gazette and other Gannett Wisconsin publications on deadline. Edited news, sports and feature stories for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to local and Associated Press styles.

Covered police and courts for a seven-county area in addition to reporting on breaking news for the daily newspaper.
