Growing up I would play with my enormous collection of toy animals to recreate ecosystems in my own bedroom. As I got older, the only books I would read would be about wildlife and I soon developed a talent for constantly spitting out fun facts about the world around us, often to the dismay of my teachers who just wanted me to be quiet. Now I am an Undergraduate Student at NC State studying Environmental Science and Plant Biology with a concentration in Regenerative Agriculture. I am incredibly passionate about agroecology and I hope that after I graduate I can use my degree to collaborate with farmers to push our food systems to become as sustainable as possible. We only have one Earth, and I want to do everything I can to save it.
