Since as long as I can remember, I've had the desire to possess a truly open-minded and creative outlook. This drove me, from an early age, to write and draw on a constant basis, as well as dabble in instrumentation. In 2001, I began writing, producing, recording and mixing my own music, which has continued to the present.After graduating high school in 2004, I garnered some gen ed credits at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL before transferring to Columbia College Chicago from 2009 to 2012, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Video.I prefer to have (at least a general) knowledge of all aspects of a creative situation I involve myself with. I have a good grasp on the pre-production process, including screenwriting, shot lists, storyboards, crew lists, etc. I have a good amount of on-set experience in various areas, including location audio, script supervising, lighting and cinematography (as well as previous production assistance for TV's The Voice and America's Best Dance Crew). Post-production is my most prevalent area of media. I am well versed in media software, including Pro Tool, Avid Media Composer, Photoshop, Celtx, Final Cut & After Effects, among others.Media I produce is released under my brainchild Utopiugly Productions (established mid-2012). I'm in a position to work with individuals to meet their media needs and procure some cliental. However, I'm also hoping to collaborate and work with reputable organizations and/or individuals to boost my experience and continue my creative growth and development as well.
