ROC IT Solutions was acquired by Tracelink so I have continued my work starting with Tracelink.My responsibilities primarily involve C++ and Java programming simultaneously to develop new features and improvements for an inventory tracking system that tracks serialized product. Courses previously taught:2D Animation for Interactive Media - I focused my students on creating believable characters and stories. The biggest point I tried to drive home is that the art doesn't have to be the most elaborate thing out there, but it has to be believable. I emphasized that movement and organic feeling from characters makes a more believable story than a complex model who's skeleton is completely out of sync.Game Development Algorithmic Programming 2 - Taught in C# and XNA programming. This course was a second year course for students. We focused on data structures and gameplay system designs. I emphasized the improvement on making my students better programmers and developers by the end of the course. They had a group project that spanned the semester where they would have to create a game with 1 fully functioning level.

I was an actionscript programmer on two separate projects. My day to day tasks included progressing the overall product as well as bug fixes that would come up during development. I mainly handled menu systems and gameplay logic.

I was a part of a research grant for RIT that explored the preservation of very old video games. The games that we looked on as our test group dated before the original Nintendo Entertainment System came out. It was my job to set up and maintain a testbed of computers using various hardware and software combinations to determine the best combination in which these old games could be preserved. We worked closely with the Strong National Toy Museum as they were looking to create a permanent exhibit showcasing these old video games.
