Eric Palacios Email and Phone Number

I am an Ecuadorian-American product designer born in New York and raised in Concord, NC. An early interest in design steered me to study architecture at NC State University, but I eventually found my true passion for product design at Appalachian State University. While attending school, I was a finalist in a Kikkerland collaboration studio to work towards production of my original sustainable design: BamBoom Rags. I was also selected by teachers to represent App State at the WantedDesign competition in Brooklyn before it was cancelled due to COVID-19. As a designer, my passion stems from innate problem solving and creative thinking. When facing new design challenges, I tend to immerse myself into the role of the consumer to explore their experiences and identify their problems. I solve both obvious and overlooked problems with simple, innovative solutions that are intuitive to the consumer. It is my responsibility as a designer to continue creating things that improve the world and lives of the people in it.
