About Eric Mack
I bring more than two decades of experience as an undergraduate mathematics professor, backed by a master's degree in pure mathematics and more than 20 credits of PhD and educational coursework. Throughout my tenure, I have: taught classes to both engineering and non-engineering students, developed courses and multi-disciplinary curriculum, provided technical input for program reviews, authored learning and assessment resources including multidisciplinary project prompts and timelines, consulted on textbooks, given many conference presentations, developed technical approaches to project work assignments; contributed to technical proposals for new projects and businesses including curriculum and real estate development; implemented project management plans for multiple projects; and worked well with teams for project development, execution, and closure. I have developed an extensive library of interactive models incorporating many parameters to communicate complex mathematical ideas to a lay audience; am proficient in mathematical modeling programs such as MS Excel (including coding custom functions in VBA), Wolfram Mathematica, and Geogebra, as well as familiar with languages such as Python, LaTex, C++, and Haskell. I enjoy working with like-minded professionals to solve complex multi-disciplinary problems.
