After almost three years of litigation, clients received the largest percentage recovery (over 98%) ever for victims of a Ponzi scheme. Media outlets described the outcome as a "landmark" lawsuit and a "huge-victory" for innocent investors.Prior to private practice, I honed my skills watching the best in action as both a legal intern for Chief Justice R. Fred Lewis of the Florida Supreme Court and as a clerk for the Honorable Dorian Damoorgian currently a member of Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeals. Led discovery team with a focus on preparing investors and witnesses for deposition and cross-examination testimony. Only associate named to Executive Management Team directing the strategy which achieved the highest percentage recovery ever for Ponzi victims (98%).• Retained by medical devise enterprise to perform internal investigation into compliance related allegations asserted by state and local officials. Prepare detailed summary report and plan for remediation. Work directly with officers to implement, create accountability, and avoid sanctions.• Obtained partial summary judgment in favor of corporate executive clients charged in multi-million dollar claim for breach of fiduciary duty and violation of non-compete and trade secret covenants. Achieved favorable resolution of clients counter-claims for past due compensation. • Successfully represented client against Inspector General’s regulatory challenge preserving $69 million dollar janitorial services contract award with Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
