In addition to the tasks and initiatives outlined below under "Director of Membership Services":-Expand and grow membership engagement & retention through video showcase pieces: Membership Monday & Chamber Chat. *see links below for examples*-Oversee the project management of the Total Resource Campaign (TRC). The TRC is a dynamic business development campaign utilizing volunteers as the relationship builders and catalysts.-2020 was the Inaugural TRC for the Roanoke Regional Chamber. This was through the direction & guidance of Jason E. Ebey, IOM with YGM Total Resource Campaigns.-The TRC consists of the following volunteer tree - One Chair, Vice Chairs, Team Captains, and volunteers each under each Team Captain. In total - approx. 50-75 folks help execute the TRC.-I am the Campaign Manager/Chamber Liaison and responsible for the engagement and execution of the entire campaign. We did weekly 'Rally Sessions' to share successes, and talk about areas of improvement and opportunity. Multiple calls, e-mails, videos, etc. were done to drive the reach and countless opportunities to the region and membership.-The TRC is a Win-Win-Win. It's a win for the Chamber, the volunteers, and the business community. -For the 2020 TRC (Sponsorships for the 2021 Calendar Year) - it was an overwhelming success. In total - over 8 weeks - the total revenue exceeded just over $228,000. This was over a 100% increase from sponsorships in 2019 & 2020. We had 19 new members join, and over 120 different companies purchased an opportunity in the TRC.-For 2021 - the Target Goal was $230,000. That was exceeded by $20,435 as the final raised total was $250,435. -There was 11 new members who joined the Chamber, 129 different members purchased an opportunity, and there were 274 unique sales as a part of the 7 week TRC.-4 events/programs completely sold out in all sponsorships.

-The Chamber is located in beautiful downtown Roanoke, VA - but we serve the broad region of Virginia's Blue Ridge which includes: Botetourt County, Roanoke County, Salem, Vinton, Roanoke City, Cave Spring, parts of Bedford County, parts of Franklin County, and more.-Oversee the organization, communication, growth, & engagement of the 800 + members of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. From small business to large businesses, retail to trade, to services and more - we have a robust & diverse membership all focused on the betterment of Virginia's Blue Ridge.-Cultivate relationships in the region to further grow membership.-Work closely with the Executive Committee & Board of Directors on the 'why' of the Chamber: "We strive to improve the community and economy by maximizing the business climate of the current generation for future generations." "We do this by promoting, stimulating, & improving business."-Manage & lead full time Communications Manager.-Manage & lead part time Manager of Events & Programs.-Manage & lead 'Ambassadors" program. Chamber Ambassadors are employees through our members that volunteer their time to assist the Chamber with connecting with members. They update member information, share upcoming news & updates within the Chamber's program of work, and assist in requesting from members how we can help them.-Responsible for assisting in the execution of our entire program of work. Governor's Challenge Basketball Tournament. This is the largest Holiday Basketball Tournament in the Country each December the days following Christmas. Showcase event for high school and college prep teams from across the entire United States. Also conduct in between game and on court promotions and entertainment to excite fans attending throughout the tournament. Additionally - each July since 2014 - Master of Ceremonies for the annual USSSA Opening Ceremonies. This is one of the largest Summer Softball Tournaments in Wicomico and Worcester Counties. Over 300 teams over the course of 3 weeks from across the Mid-Atlantic region travel to the area for this dynamic experience. 3 Opening Ceremonies are done as the showcase is split in age groups over the timeframe.
