Klaviyo is a special place: exceptional team, passionate customers, fast growth, insane ambition, good values. In 2017, Ezra Freedman and I were searching for our next startup idea when we reconnected with the CEO of Klaviyo, someone who we tried (but failed!) to hire at TrialNetworks. We realized something exciting was happening at Klaviyo and we wanted to be a part of it.

As a member of the senior leadership team, helped us grow to over 100,000 customers who, over black friday / cyber monday 2022 alone, used us to generate $2.2B in revenue. As head of data science, built a team of fifty people responsible for product features (e.g. benchmarks, copy generation, A/B testing tools, product recommendations, predictive analytics, anomaly detection) and internal projects (e.g. churn prediction, health scores, bad actor detection).

Led the TrialNetworks business unit of DrugDev until just prior to our acquisition by IQVIA. Continued growing our business, team and software platform.

Co-founded TrialNetworks. We pioneered cloud software for managing clinical trial operations and earned customers such as AstraZeneca, Merck and Genentech. Our platform was used on 20,000+ patient clinical studies and for several drugs that received marketing approval. We strove to provide incredible customer service through our software and professional services. Built team and led company through acquisition by DrugDev.

We created the Localization Management System category and developed WorldServer, a product still used (as of 2020!) by enterprises to manage language translation. Raised venture funding and then served in various roles including product management, sales, development and consulting. Left when SDL acquired the company.
