• Responsible for leading a 24-person watch team as Officer of the Deck onboard an 18,000-ton, $3B Ohio class submarine, directing all ship’s movements, operations, and communications.
• Led daily operations meetings comprised of the ship’s technical experts, presenting the plan to accomplish mission tasking.
• Coordinated daily with 15 senior stakeholders across the ship to develop consensus on operational priorities, and to oversee successful execution of 24 hour a day integrated ship-wide operations across three strategic.
• Led as the project manager in charge of 12 technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting the ship’s electrical and control systems.
• Supervised 30-person engineering teams through several complex reactor plant operations to include low power physics testing, reactor plant depressurization, and nuclear fuel removal.
• Certified as Principal Engineer of a Naval Nuclear Reactor by the Department of Energy, completing a rigorous two-year program consisting of graduate level coursework.
