- Oversee all aspects of strategy and operations for multiple operating units of Amsted Rail’s Truck Systems Components division;- Led the acquisition and integration of a manufacturing facility located in Michigan. Integrated the operation into Amsted Rail’s operating organization, overseeing integration of quality systems, operations oversight, HR and payroll to ensure the operation of the new facility met Amsted’s standards without any interruption to existing business. During the first year of operations, grew the EBITDA of the business to improve acquisition payback to under two years, from originally projected 4 years.- In order to meet a key customer’s demand for integrated supply, designed and executed the start-up of a Maquiladora operation in Mexico, embedding our supply and assembly operations within the customer’s flagship facility.Developed a strategic sourcing initiative within the division, ensuring continuity of supply of key components, and ensuring better commercial leverage.

- Developed the strategic framework and oversaw all commercial activities pertaining to growing Amsted Rail’s presence in India & South America. Grew revenues in the combined regions from $15million to over $70million USD over a three year period.- Leveraged Amsted Rail’s Intellectual Property and manufacturing capabilities to establish and oversee foreign partnerships in the select markets, including licensing arrangements and Joint Ventures.- Served as Board Member on three Amsted Rail joint ventures, including Chairman of our Indian Joint Venture.- Successfully negotiated the single largest contract awarded by the Government of India, Ministry of Rail for the transfer of technology and products, valued at over US$800 million over the next five years.- Established first indigenous operations in India for Amsted Industries, through the formation of a Joint Venture with an Indian partner, leading to the first AAR approved factory for draft gear production outside of North America.

- Designed and led the implementation of a consolidated Shared Services Unit, which led to a reduction in administrative costs, and the generation of over $40 million in working capital savings to Amsted Rail.- Designed and led the implementation of an enterprise-wide demand planning process, resulting in better Advanced Planning Optimization for our $1.5 Bln enterprise.- Performed due diligence and led negotiations with partners for the formation of a $75mm joint venture greenfield operation for the production of railcar axles in Paragould, Arkansas. - Implemented uniform business analytics and forecasting methodologies across the enterprise, including Amsted Rail’s North American operations, joint-ventures in China and Mexico, and newly formed subsidiaries in Mexico and Russia.- Performed monthly operations reviews with all locations, monitoring performance and providing strategic direction.- Began my transition into an international role within the enterprise, by assuming responsibility for our business relationship with Egyptian National Railways; executed a transaction for the delivery of railcar components to the Egyptian market.
