Working on Halo 5: Guardians.
As an appointed community member, I was responsible for testing and developing map variants and game types for the Halo 4 Team Throwdown playlist, which included appropriate documentation, competitive community leadership, and community interaction. I was also accountable for social media strategy, community management, and reporting of Facebook, Twitter, and emerging social platforms.I established a unique and consistent brand voice for competitors while managing to appeal to various other communities. I grew my Facebook and Twitter audiences by over 90% in 9 months and significantly improved community sentiment and engagement metrics. While doing so, I partnered with MLG GameBattles, Arena Gaming League, UMG, and brand sponsors to effectively infiltrate the playlist settings into multiple gaming syndicates worldwide.
As an appointed community member, I designed, tested, and finalized the map variants and game types for the Halo 4 Global Championship Live Events, including RTX, GAMESCOM, and PAX Prime Benaroya Hall Finals. While being contracted to attend both RTX and PAX Prime, I consulted and assisted with various event and tournament logistics. I effectively supported and structured a seamless tournament format and atmosphere for players in attendance of RTX and PAX Prime. Moreover, I successfully created settings that were the foundation for the largest stage in console gaming history.

After retiring from competing professionally in Halo tournaments, I co-founded Beyond Entertainment alongside Joseph Bentley, another well-known member of the competitive Halo community. What initially started out as a simple news outlet for the Halo franchise via YouTube videos, quickly turned into a multimedia hub for news and coverage for competitive console shooters, including titles such as Halo, Call of Duty, Titanfall, and Destiny. I helped launch and maintain the website of Beyond Entertainment which in turn hosts daily articles, forum threads, and video updates for the competitive console community.During the expansion of Beyond Entertainment, I assisted in managing the staff, personalities, social media, and live shows, as well as facilitated the growth of a respectful and courteous forum community. I also participated in weekly live shows as a professional personality and liaison between the Halo community and 343 Industries. Furthermore, I aided in writing and editing articles that covered the day-to-day console and gaming world news.Beyond Entertainment / TeamBeyond.net was acquired by Logitech in May 2018.

While competing as a professional Halo player on Major League Gaming's Pro Circuit, I helped contribute to the development of their Halo settings and rules in regards to map variants and game types. Using my competitive expertise, I aided in improving the multiplayer experience by creating a sound medium for players to practice and perform on within internationally televised tournaments as well as standardized matchmaking playlists and custom games. I also organized and monitored weekly testing regiments amongst professional Halo players in order to effectively playtest new enhancements and optimizations.During my time in this role, I led the strategy and development of internal settings solutions for MLG to enable competitors and fans alike to adapt to the modifications. I devised creative concepts and adjustments for the Halo 3, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 original map variants and game types in order to better suit them for tournament-level playlists, i.e. Team Hardcore, MLG, Team Throwdown. While constructing these settings, I collected, consulted, and assessed appropriate Forge map designs from a wide-spread Forge community in order to implement the best maps possible for tournament play. To bring these changes all together smoothly, I established breakthrough strategies for spawn and weapon placement to effectively diagnose and improve launch and Forge maps.
