Eric Johnston works as a Global Supply Manager for Apple. He currently manages the commercial relationships and supply strategies with contract manufacturers for braided charging cables and accessories for Mac, Home, and Vision products. Previously Eric worked at John Deere in various roles in Global Sourcing and Supply Management. He started his career in in the rotational Supply Management Development Program (SMDP), supporting as an Order Fulfilment Planner in the Parameters and Planning Shared Services team as well as a Supply Management Specialist supporting the Aftermarket-Ferrous teams sourcing strategies/initiatives. Prior to leaving Deere, he was a Continuous Improvement (CI) Buyer for John Deere Des Moines Works in Ankeny, Iowa, supporting various commodities such as fasteners, springs, clamps, and kitting/assembly suppliers for the sprayer, cotton, and tillage attachments product lines. Eric is a graduate from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University with a degree in Supply Chain Management and minor in the Spanish language. He is actively interested in pursuing an MBA in the near future.Originally from Houston, Texas, Eric has lived abroad in both London and Singapore and traveled around the world to 20+ countries across five continents. He enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cheering on his beloved Houston Astros and Red Raiders.
