During my Bed Bath and Beyond career, I have served in a variety of roles that have resulted in consistently increasing responsibilities, in multiple markets, throughout California.I have managed all aspects of store leadership: Human Resources, Logistics, Sales Trend Analysis, Merchandising, Customer Relationship Management, Sales Management, Scheduling, Training and Development, Hiring, Store Mapping, directly interfacing with senior management teams, and opening new stores in the Sacramento and Daly City markets.

-One of two New in Role Executives selected to open the new Target with a seasoned team of top performing Executives from across the district the only New in Role ETL to be kept past 4th quarter-Championed safety for the Logistics process, resulting in a 332 days Incident Free overnight process-Highest Year to Date Backroom Location Accuracy in the district for 2010-Ran a bi-weekly Logistics Conference call for my district to discuss upcoming rollouts, problem solving Logistics processes and strategizing for upcoming challenges-Served as the district trainer for Logistics and Replenishment Executives-Received an Excellent score on both my 2009 and 2010 annual reviews

Identified opportunities with the efficiency of the Weekly Advertisement Signing takedown and setup process and partnered with the 6SIGMA team at Target Corporate in Minneapolis, MN as well as several stores in my area and improved the efficiency of the AD process to use 40% of the payroll hours previously allotted. Served as Team Leader for the Health & Beauty and Sporting Goods Departments where I maintained visual presentation, signing and transitions within those departments.

I supervised the Front End, covering multiple teams including Guest Services, Cashiers, Cart Attendants, Brand Attendants, and Cash Office Specialists. I was a District Trainer for new Guest Service Team Leaders as well as Executive Interns at the store. I also ran monthly contests to encourage Target Red Card conversion rates, resulting in an improvement of more than 100%

I worked in commission based sales selling Palm brand Personal Digital Assistants and I was transferred to the Valley Fair Mall location when the Oakridge Mall location closed. After strong sales results with the release of the Treo Smartphone, I participated in training the new sales associates for the opening of the Palo Alto store, the Headquarters store, and the Store in Valley Fair mall, that was set to replace the existing kiosk. I also served as a team trainer for new hires set to staff the new locations.

I provided Customer Service, answered phones and signed customers up for rental contracts on instruments at the storeeaned and repaired instruments, including brass, woodwind and string instruments. I also sorted the music library and opened and stocked new music shipments, performed cleaning and trash removal duties for the store and the teacher’s studios.
