I have been the main creative and scientific mind behind several breakthroughs that place Airmaster as technological market leader within decentralized heat recovery air handling units, which are used for delivering superior air quality and thermal comfort in the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly manner in typical teaching and professional indoor spaces such as classrooms, institutions, and offices. The products incorporate such diverse multiple dimensions as indoor and outdoor climate, complex air flows, energy efficiency, control algorithms, thermal and acoustic performance, together with mechanical and architectural design. This has resulted in a number of filed and pending patents, thus gaining experience with patenting processes and IPR strategy. As an example, Airmaster has patent rights for a novel method to incorporate natural with mechanical ventilation. My background is mainly as an experienced senior manager with proven track record for innovation and value creation. During my time at Airmaster, I have taken intiative to organisational improvements by the use of Stage/Gate proces and Product Road Map together with lateral project organisation. I have also introduced systematic use of Design for Manufacturing. Experience with fundraising from public and privately funded projects, EU and national. I have accomplished a thorough scientific education and academic career prior to my industrial career. PhD in Indoor climatic engineering with a dissertation about the influence of human respiration together with general airflow patterns on contaminant exposure levels in the indoor environment. Both my industrial and scientific careers have brought with them long experience with measurement and testing methods, both for laboratory and field testing, especially for ventilation technologies and indoor climate assessment. I have extensive teaching experience in subjects such as indoor climate, ventilation principles, energy use, and environmental issues for buildings, which is also a benefit for other communication tasks.Airmaster A/S is open to cooperation with university researchers and students and other knowledge based organisations and innovation oriented companies, for instance by joint R&D in funded programs or student cooperation for M.Sc. thesis.
