With an interdisciplinary approach, I explored the formation, development, and alteration of collective memory within social groups by combining principles from neuroscience, psychology, and sociology.

I conducted rodent behavioral assays to examine the role of the basal forebrain cholinergic system in attention and impulsivity. I collected and analyzed data and assisted with rat surgeries.

I studied hippocampal dentate granule cell neurogenesis and development in the context of epilepsy. I characterized a novel transgenic mouse model and created 3D reconstructions of hippocampal neurons to analyze morphological changes. I performed mouse breeding and other colony maintenance tasks.
