About Erik Fox

I am a problem solver, it informs every aspect of my being and it makes be an excelent artist and technician. I look forward to solving all the problems that theater presents us with as artists, and to a lesser extent the problems we encounter as people who must live in a world with budgets, and physics.     I design and execute all main stage productions, I act as master electrician in conjunction with the technical director and utilize the technical theater students and sometimes the actors as a crew. I teach the students about different areas of lighting, including: hanging and focusing, running the light board, calling light cues, and finding your light. I also design a plot and mentor student designers for the dance departments end of the year performance. Groton puts on about three productions per year with some exceptions usually a big drama, then a musical and then a small play or comedy.
