Working at the EU sponsored project “Development of Silk Production”. Responsible for the economic and financial analysis of sericulture, strengthening farmer groups in M&E, marketing and financial management, project M&E and MIS.

Initially as an Associate Expert and later as an associate consultant, Erik worked for IFAD’s Evaluation Division where he organised and lead evaluation missions and provided backstopping to other parts of the organisation on M&E arrangements in rural development projects. During this period, he visited several countries both in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Liberia) and Asia (Indonesia, Thailand).
