I've been the treasurer for the World War II History Center Foundation since Oct 2014. In the role of treasurer, I am responsible for tracking and assessing the Foundation's fiscal health. I manage all financial transactions, past and present. With these financial records, I create budgets (short and long term), I prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors at every meeting and I'm also responsible for filing all federal and state taxes on behalf of the Foundation.

I have been a member of the WWII History Center Foundation since Spring 2009; I was elected to a seat on the Board of Directors in 2010; I was elected Vice President of the Foundation in the Fall of 2012. In October 2013, I became President and Executive Director of the Foundation.As the President of the Board and as the Executive Director, some of my responsibilities included:∙ Overall operation of the Museum∙ Presidency of the Board of Directors∙ Develop, maintain and support a strong Board of Directors - keep Board Members involved with strategic direction for short, mid and long term programs∙ Enhance all forms of communications in order to form closer bonds, to include web presence, local contacts and national contacts∙ Create process and methodology for tracking inventory, donations, exhibits and company progress∙ Oversight of Board of Director Subcommittees (Operations, Fundraising, Public Relations and the WWII Reenacting Corps)∙ Management of volunteers for the Foundation

I have helped with fundraising, created new exhibits, and assisted with the accrual of artifacts and donations. I am in charge of the WWII Reenacting Corps and am the liaison for the Reenacting Corps to the Board of Directors.

As commander of the WWII Reenacting Corps, I am in charge of our reenactor and living history volunteers. The WWII Reenacting Corps consists of two units: an American (82nd Airborne) and a German (352. Infanterie-Division). I plan reenacting events, which includes fundraising and tracking finances. I develop display and battle scenarios designed not only to entertain but to educate. I coordinate use of safe and licensed pyrotechnics at events. I coordinate volunteers for crowd control. I also speak publicly about the history of WWII and the importance of reenacting. Coordination of our Corps' at other local and national events is also my responsibility. As the Corps Commander, I represent the WWII Reenacting Corps on the board of directors for the World War II History Center Foundation. Ultimately, I ensure that the Corps functions in support of all WWII History Center events to fulfill our mission: "To remember a generation; to honor their sacrifices; and to educate future generations."

I worked on the A350 XWB Galley Program at Collins Aerospace (now a part of Raytheon Technologies, formerly United Technologies, Rockwell Collins and B/E Aerospace). I directed and coordinated the activities of multiple Stress teams in everything from individual part substantiation to delivery of certification documents for an entire shipset of galleys to Airbus. My teams performed static structural analysis on production customer deliveries, aftermarket updates, and developmental programs. My teams also planned full and detail-level testing, writing test reports, oversaw the testing and completed test reports. I have managed several integrated product teams (IPTs) and new product integration teams (NPI), am responsible for planning work, assigning tasks, setting a schedule and ensuring quality and on-time deliveries to the customer. I planed my team's work based traceable metrics and a track their progress via one-on-one meetings and regular (virtual) team stand-ups. I coordinated work with engineering offices in the U.S., the U.K. the Philippines and India, all working to support the A350XWB Galley Program home office in Leighton Buzzard, U.K. I have achieved and maintained Airbus M1020 A350XWB delegation for Stress checking and approvals.In Aug 2024, part of my team and I were transferred to the Seating Products Group. There, we work on certifying non-TSO seating furniture used on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

I work on the A350 XWB Galley Program with Rockwell Collins (which was then acquired by Collins Aerospace in 2018). As as engineering supervisor of stress, I work under an engineering manager and oversee a team of about 10 stress engineers. I direct and coordinate the activities of the Wichita stress team in everything from individual part substantiation to delivery of certification documents for entire monuments to Airbus. I plan my team's work based traceable metrics as well as my prior experience as a stress engineer and a track their progress via one-on-one and team stand-up meetings. I coordinate work with an engineering office in Everett, WA and work to support The A350XWB Galley Program home office in Leighton Buzzard, UK. Also, as a supervisor, I achieved and maintained Airbus M1020 A350XWB delegation for Stress Checking and Approvals. Rockwell Collins was merged with Collins Aerospace in November 2018.

I work on the A350 XWB program. I analyze galleys and trolley compartments. I analyze and write reports on floor fittings, upper fittings, hinges and mass restraint items. I write galley test configuration reports, which involve the determination of full-scale testing by load interrogation and the creation of whiffle trees. I write galley test reports, detailing the full-scale test results and ensuring compliance with the test plan. I perform qualification similarity reports, showing that a new production galley configuration was structurally similar (by analysis and inspection) to previously tested configurations. I perform fastener, lug and part comparison analysis. I interrogate finite element models (FEMs) for interface loads and internal loads. I use FEMs to predict beam and laminate panel failure and make recommendations as to improving the structure prior to physical testing.

Stress Engineer on the 737 MAX program I worked on Section 41 of the 737 Max program, redesigning and analyzing the forward access door structure, performing FEM node and property updates, analysis plan preparation and I collected interface load data. I also worked on the Monocoque/Frames group analyzing and sizing frame splices, shear ties and stringer clips. I substantiated the floor-frame joint, shear tie, stringer clip and frame splice static and fatigue analysis, performed sonic fatigue analysis on entire aircraft, learned Boeing tools, methodology and the processes behind static analysis durability and damage tolerance.

Started my own LLC in order to work as an independent aerospace contract engineer. My first project was as a Stress/Aerodynamics Engineer working for Mav6 LLC on the Blue Devil II Airship program. My primary responsibilities include structural integrity analysis and aerodynamic performance support. In this role, I conducted modal analysis of the entire airship, compiled mass data for the 6DoF model, designed parts in SolidWorks, worked with vendors and wrote and compiled several reports (Airship Drag Buildup, Aerodynamic Coefficient data, CFD Summary).

Hired on in a group of independent contractors known as the Wichita Analytical Group (WAG). Our job is to help design and analyze the Blue Devil II Airship.

I started my career in Aerospace Engineering here right out of college. I was placed into the new engineer rotation program. I spent six months in Aircraft Design working on the Bonanza, Baron and King Air series, three months in Aerodynamics working on the Hawker 400, and three months in Structural Analysis. I decided that Structural Analysis is where I wanted to work, so I got out of the rotation program to stay with the Stress team. I worked on the Premier II, helping redesign and analyze the landing gear. I also assisted Durability and Damage Tolerance for the King Air 350ER, and on a redesign project on the window frames of the Hawker 4000.

- Drafted parts, systems and assemblies using 3D solid modeling (NX 4.0) for the Meridian Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV).- Designed, drafted and obtained a quote from the vendor for the fuel system on the Meridian UAV. - Conducted over 30 hours of wind tunnel testing on airfoils, a wind turbine and the Meridian’s antennae.- Primarily worked on testing the vibrations of the Vivaldi antennae and its supporting structure.- Co-authored AIAA paper entitled "Structural Design, Analysis, and Testing of Vivaldi Ground Penetrating Radar Antennas for the Meridian UAS."
