Manage GCLP compliance aspects and software system validations for a clinical biomarker laboratory

I work in support of and as a representative of scientists who can be generally described as pharmacokineticists and bioanalytical scientists. The bioanalytical scientists are primarily users of LCMS instrumentation. My role is in support of the information management technology for instrument generated files, modeling tools, laboratory records, and decision making software. I have a core expertise around software design, system validation and implementation for GxP and non-regulated laboratory instrumentation. (This involves some software development but most of our applications are purchased.) As someone who can speak both the scientific and IT languages I act as a “catch-all” liaison between these groups.
