Erika joined Hatch in 2017 and has been managing the Denver office since 2020. With over 20 years of experience in project management and controls, she serves as the business champion for project management systems and tools and the implementation of business processes and policies to provide uniformity and consistency in the company, region, and Transit business unit’s project management practices, and ultimately project performance across the company. This position provides leadership in the development and implementation of standard business processes and project control practices within the Transit Business Unit. This includes measuring performance and making strategic recommendations that ensure the delivery of quality outcomes that meet companywide goals. She is also currently focused on business operations and reporting for the Transit Business unit by supporting Project Managers, Resource Managers, department heads, Regional Vice Presidents, and Executives to manage the organization’s portfolio of projects, enhance reporting capabilities, facilitate organizational collaboration and ultimately improve business performance. Prior to 2017, Erika spent nearly 10 years at the Regional Transportation District in Denver where she served as Project Controls Manager for several large-scale capital projects in the FasTracks Program, including I-225 Rail Line and Southeast Rail Extension. She also served as Cost Engineer on the West Rail Line. She was involved in all aspects of project controls including, planning and scheduling, cost control, estimating, risk management, document control from inception through completion and closeout.Erika believes if you’re not measuring it, you’re not managing it and with early indication of risks and trends, corrective action may occur, which helps to lead a project to success. After spending nearly two decades working in Project Controls and Administration on multi-million-dollar projects, Erika knows what truly drives results.
