In this role, I am responsible for the management of occupational medicine patients suffering from a range of injuries and illnesses which includes performing a physical examination to determine causation and fitness to work. Moreover, I perform complete surveillance and work qualification examinations in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) workplace injuries regulations while ensuring worker health by reducing workplace hazards. Notable achievements include:• Trained, onboarded, and led orientation for new medical staff members.• Contributed to boosting retention and productivity as well as cutting down on turnover rates.

During my tenure in this role, I oversaw the provision of comprehensive care and treatment to a range of patients such as pediatric, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric populations for non-emergent medical conditions. Furthermore, I conducted minor surgical procedures such as suturing and Incision and drainage (I&D) as well as minor splinting for orthopedic fractures and interpretation of x-rays. Notable achievements include: • Effectively attended to and treated 3 - 4 patients per hour.• Contributed to the establishment of a new facility which increased revenue turnover by $98,000K monthly within several months of opening.

During my tenure in this role, I managed communication between per diem providers and senior management making recommendations to enhance patient flow as well as convey operational needs to nurses, secretaries, and medical assistants. Additionally, I ordered and interpreted laboratory values and radiologic tests to establish and implemented immediate treatment and appropriate referral where applicable. During my time in this role, I gathered patients' medical history and managed initial evaluation, physical examination, ordering, and interpretation of various laboratory and radiologic studies. I also worked with the attending Physician on patient cases and assisted with minor surgical and orthopedic procedures.
