Worked specifically with local fauna, such as elasmobranchs, sea horses, moon jellies, kelp, and other various species of teleost fish. Prepared and distributed animal feed. When needed, would aid in collecting seawater from the local bay using a specialized contraption built on location to extract the water and transport it directly to the facility, where it would undergo treatment to make it safe for exhibit use. Gave shark and sea star feeding presentations and promoted the aquarium’s educational objective by providing general knowledge about ocean processes and inhabitants, and the steps to take to protect the oceans.• Promoted to veteran status in two months for strong attention to detail, quick absorption of information, and comfort in leading and training new interns
