I contribute with my integrated marketing communications skills to develop bilingual multimedia content and communication strategies to increase media presence of historically marginalized communities. On the international level, I advocate for the respect of human rights and indigenous peoples rights. I media couched the Mapuche leaders delegation for the audience at the Inter-American Human Rights court in San Jose of Costa Rica for the Norín Katrán and Others case's, which addressed the Chilean State implementation of the anti-terrorist law to criminalize the Mapuche leaders' ancestral demands over the land (2013).The understanding of cultural protocols and business standards helps me to successfully craft culturally appropriate communications and target messages to raise awareness about international human rights and environmental campaigns. I developed international connections that allowed the visit of three female indigenous leaders from the Amazon Basin of Ecuador to the University of Oregon (2015). I media couched and provided creative strategic planning for the development of bilingual media content the Coordinator of the Amazon Women of Pastaza (COMNAP), the Assembly of Women and Family of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE) and for the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuadorian Amazon (CONFENAIE). On the local level, I write outreach plans, report, interview, and facilitate media coverage for cultural and community events. I provide social media consultations to small business owners and organizations including the Coalition Against Environmental Racism (CAER), the Entrepreneurial Development Services (Edev); Eugene/Springfield National Association for the Advance of Colored People (NAACP); the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC); UO's Native American Student Union (NASU); UO Multicultural Center; Oregon National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME); and the ASUO Women's Center.
