Owned And Majority-Operated By All Women, we are a group of inspired, passionate gardeners looking to make the world a more beautiful and sustainable place. Erika Nolan is Licensed Horticulturalist with a Certification in Landscape Horticulture. She created Instar from a smaller home business, operating out of 50 s.f. of gardening space. Erika hustled the plant world in every way possible: from selling plants at people’s doorsteps to growing food and selling products at the local Farmer’s Markets. Erika purchased her first home where she could further develop her homesteading model. As soon as she built the Veggie Garden, the business exploded as everyone wanted the same: to grow their own food. Alongside Edible Gardening, Erika's love affair with plants has led her to other creative Landscaping Services, offering the best, most thought-out ideas, all within sustainable, artistic fashion. Erika considers herself and her team “Garden Artists”, taking the possibilities of the landscape beyond ordinary vision.

Designed, printed, distributed all event invitations, fliers, press releases while consistently meeting deadlines. Conducted all store meetings with weekly updates. Ordered all event components and equipment. Collaborated with local media partners for advertisement, press releases and event partnership.
