Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories is a part of Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. We provide laboratory testing to Froedtert Hospital, the Integrated Health Network, community-based clinics and physicians, long-term care facilities and group homes, and government agencies.My responsibilities include performing molecular testing on human specimens in order to help medical professionals identify, cure and prevent various bacterial and viral infections. I am also responsible for communicating test results to doctors or other medical professionals to help them diagnose and treat patients. This position requires vigorous attention to detail, organization and thoroughness.

This project was funded by the National Science Foundation and the goal of the project was to produce artificial red blood cells using a pectin solution and an electrospinner. Responsibilities included setting up an electrospinner, loading syringes, mixing pectin solutions and troubleshooting problems. All research was done under the supervision and instruction of Dr. Wujie Zhang.

A.P. Nonweiler is a leading manufacturer of paints distributed to several national retail chains located across North America. My responsibilities included ensuring the quality of the paint and product leaving the facility on a daily basis. Daily tasks included rigorous testing of the viscosity of the paints, gloss levels, tint strength, the solids of the paint, weight per gallon and much more. Tasked with verifying the quality of all outgoing paint for a leading national retailer. Tested hourly gloss levels of multiple paint types (Two Component, White and Clear) varying the levels of Syloid-7000.
