Investment Manager
CurrentCCRM Enterprises is the investment branch of CCRM, a cell manufacturing CDMO. Enterprises invests in preclinical-stage companies developing cell, gene therapies and regenerative medicine therapeutics. Working closely with CCRM, Enterprises leverages its cell and vector biology team of experts, manufacturing know-how and GMP-grade laboratory infrastructure. This role involves:• Sourcing quality dealflow for investment purposes by attending conferences, networking and from internal references• Lead business development of new investment, company-creation, collaborations and partnership opportunities between CCRM Enterprises, CCRM and external groups• Supporting the development of our portfolio companies, providing BD, technical, fundraising and legal support, as well as connections to other investor groups, internal/external KOLs • Diligence of investment opportunities, identifying the scientific, market, financial, manufacturing, regulatory and commercial challenges. As well as outlining competitive advantages and upside potential• Prepare business case for investment approval by the Board• Perform market research to determine current market, financing and technology trends, uncovering investment-focus areas and informing internal stakeholders of current trends• Track portfolio FMV positions, returns and budgeting for follow-on investments• Build financial models and valuations (DCF, rNPV, comparable transactions), building in sensitivity and risk analysis Past transactions:• Involved in several Equity, Convertible Debenture investments, corporate financing and M&A transactions, unlocking over $400M in direct investments• Provided market research and modeling support to CCRM's incubation companies such as Notch Therapeutics
