Responsible Disclosures - 2- - - - - -Growing up, I always knew I wanted to dedicate myself to Computers.In what way? I had no idea. The opportunities were endless, just like the things you could do on a computer.But when I first listened to Darknet Diaries, I knew exactly where I needed to go into.Cybersecurity.It brought me back to the times I would see people hacking in Video Games, flying around like deities while the rest of the lobby was stuck in the confines in place by developers. This would always leave me wondering how they did it, but too scared to get banned to try it myself. I would read and read about JTAGs in the Xbox 360, RGHs, different exploits, but never doing anything to learn further than the theory.But this time was different.I began to scrawl through books I could find to understand hacking, starting with Web Applications, which required an understanding of Servers, which required an understanding of Networking, which required an understanding of Windows and Linux. This pipeline kept growing, but so did my drive to know every bit I could.I signed up to platforms which would teach me hacking, such as TryHackMe, and grind through every module I could find time for.My skills and understandings of the implementations of Enterprise Networks, Docker Containers, Web Applications, Computer Policies, Active Directory, Programming in Python and Javascript, and much much more would be grown by sitting and talking to the Specialist Technicians at McKinnon Secondary College, where I started my first Tech job.Furthermore, I would stay after class at University to hear personal stories about the Industry from my Lecturers and Tutors, really digging into the nitty gritty of what was being taught.However, this wasn't the only thing I'd dedicate my free time to.I also found a spark in Theatre, specifically Improvisational Theatre - and when I first heard about Physical Penetration Testing, it was the perfect overlap of everything I loved.This is the industry that keeps me forever wanting to learn, and with every new advancement and technology that comes out, there will always be a way to hack it. If not? Well, the person behind the tech is always the weakest link.
