My husband started River City Leather in 2011. I hopped on board after our second kid was born in 2015! We started in a spare bedroom and now have a 5,00 sq ft manufacturing facility with 12 employees! We can assist in design, create tech packs, service jobs or production of a full line! And many more things in between. My main job was running our retail store from September 2015 to July 2022. Besides sourcing fixtures and merchandising our leather goods, I curated collections from other companies. I was also heavily involved in the community, mostly by coordinating events/fundraisers. On top of the store, I handled all customer service, in store and online, and our social media accounts! We made it though COVID okay but retail just wasn’t the same. After shifting our focus to manufacturing and online retail sales, we decided to close the store!Currently, I manage our website, online sales, customer service and marketing. In addition, I develop new bag designs and update current styles with our lead designer. Lastly, I occasionally assist in manufacturing and administration!
