I was responsible for content creation, scheduling calendars, coordinating all communication efforts and partnering with the Development Manager for campaigns including Day of Giving, Giving Tuesday and our other various philanthropic days.

In early 2019 I had an employee engagement campaign get picked up by a national child welfare organization after a successful run at DCS.

I curated email distribution lists and helped enforce IU Brand Standards. I was responsible for email list creation and ensuring our team had the information they needed to do their jobs successfully.

I assisted in all things marketing, whether it was helping to design weekly product fliers and newsletters, directing and producing a virtual tour video for Walt Disney World, or organizing and executing a world renown conference pulling in chefs from all over the world. I facilitated tours and overall kept things running smoothly for the marketing department.

As general manager I oversee all program and announcer scheduling. I supervise human and technical operations. I lead an executive and general station staff. I also assisted the faculty advisor with training opportunities. I supervised budget expenditures in cooperation in faculty advisor as well as our legal compliance with FCC policies. I completed 12-15 hours in administrative work, was on-duty during the weekends, and had a weekly on-air shift.

The Sojourn is Indiana Wesleyan University's student run newspaper. I started as a Contributing Writer and after one semester was a promoted to Sports Editor. As the Sports Editor I wrote a weekly column, edited together the back page of the newspaper, worked with designers to design the sports page, and edited stories submitted by staff writers. We produced a weekly print edition available to students on campus.

I worked as a service clerk and cashier as well as helping out with customer service during my breaks from school. Making sure our customer's had the best experience was a top priority.

In February of 2013 I was invited to go to New Zealand to cover a mission trip the Indiana Wesleyan University Athletic Department was putting on. During the 10 day trip in July/August I followed different athletic teams and photographed their adventures. I interviewed players, Kiwi's, and coaches, and wrote daily blog posts about the days adventures for the families back home.

As an intern at WSBT I followed their lead night reporter Ted Land and learned the inner workings of a TV news station. I wrote VO's and VOSOT's for the anchors, edited together stories for the news, researched information for stories, and produced a segment of the 5:30 news.

In February 2013 I auditioned for a sketch comedy show called "The All-Nighter" that was put on by an upperclassmen studio production class. After being told they were looking for a male host, I got a call that they had selected me as their host due to my audition. As the host I was in several filmed skits and in four live-to-tape shoots complete with studio audience and house band. During the live-to-tape shoots I interviewed seven people, delivered monologues, and participated in crowd games. "The All-Nighter" was shown on WIWU TV51 in Marion, Indiana.

As News Director I was responsible for creating a daily two minute newscast that aired three times a day. I worked closely with a Broadcast Journalism class where students would take turns covering different beats in the county. Beats included: education, sports, health, economics, and religion. I trained students to work with the station equipment and edited their wraps. I helped them schedule interviews as well as helped them with the technical aspect of our news program.
