UCLA's Bruins Fighting Pediatric Cancer is a student organization committed to advancing pediatric cancer research and raising awareness on this issue. As an active member, I have participated in various campus-wide fundraising initiatives and recently applied to volunteer at the Child Life Zone at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. I am eager to gain hands-on experience working with children in a hospital setting, where I hope to contribute to their well-being and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

During UCLA's COSMOS one-month summer program as a resident assistant, I was able to work hands-on with high school students and support them in their STEM classes.

Tech Trek is an organization set up to further young girl's interest in STEM. The program gives girls the opportunity to learn about STEM fields by giving them activities, introducing them to other successful women, and different in-class projects. I have worked as a social coach for the past three years for Tech Trek statewide and have been involved in AAUW with girls in my community since 8th grade. I am able to connect with young girls and help them bring out their creativity and ideas during this week-long summer camp. I have learned how to work with and support different individuals.
