I designed interdigitated electrodes on the micron-level to perform size-based filtration of microfluidic droplets, and fabricated the electrodes and microfluidic chips in a cleanroom, using methods such as soft lithography and photolithography. The coolest part of fabrication was using an electron beam gun to spray individual gold atoms onto my electrode substrates! I presented this research at the Texas A&M Undergraduate Research Symposium and published a thesis at the Texas A&M Libraries.
