Moving Forward Dallas is a non-profit organization that focuses on making concert dance accessible to young artists. Through outreach, workshops, scholarship opportunities, young choreography awards, and more Moving Forward is able to introduce new dancers to concert dance and deepen the appreciation of dance in growing artists. My responsibilities as the Director of Operations include but are not limited to the coordination of donations, contacting potential and existing donors, and managing all constant contact and social media campaigns. At our events (both virtual and in-person) I handle all front desk activities including check-in, check out, merchandise purchases, and welcoming guest artists and other faculty and staff. After events, I analyze miscellaneous data from attendance to social media metrics and report the success of the workshop to the director and send relevant information to attendees and donors.

I worked with The School staff to coordinate and implement five onsite, professional advancement programs involving an international roster of up to 40 artist faculty and 118 dancers.My responsibilities included: creating, assembling, and distributing program information to Artist Faculty, program dancers, and visitors; scheduling, executing, and summarizing program curricular activities; and the diligent maintenance of office records, payment reports, correspondence, and data collection. As an intern, I led program orientations; supervised campus studio preparedness for daily classes and rehearsals; remedied technical errors as needed; helped coordinate an annual luncheon for School Sponsors; and prepared for classes taught by Festival Artists, School showings held on the iconic outdoor stage, and the Jacob’s Pillow’s Season Opening Gala.

As the Education Intern, I work to advance Gibney's training and education programs as part of a coordinated Education team. I support the impeccable management and operation of training programs at both Gibney locations and online platforms. I am focused on providing administrative help and operating software such as Mindbody Online, Salesforce, Zoom, JotForm, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and InDesign. By working alongside Gibney staff and personnel I am gaining hands-on experience in the daily operations of a vibrant performing arts center.

My responsibilities included assisting in the coordination of article & program information for a district-wide publication that included 40+ organizations spanning 118 acres in downtown Dallas, confirming and clarifying performance information for summer events, and digitally organizing grant applications from the past 3 years.
