Worked with a team of bioinformaticians to build a CLIA validated pipeline to processtumor and normal samples from stage 4 lung cancer patients and match them to clinicaltrials.

Built and maintained the services required for communication and collection of informationbetween satellite operations and the ground stations. Our team built systems ranging frompackages to run tasks on ground stations and collect all received information to APIs forother systems to integrate with mission control. Most of the core MC software was writtenin python and django was used for the API and web application.

Worked with a team of engineers to build a financial application for small businesses. I am project lead and Scrum Master on the aggregation system that gathers financial transaction data from 3rd party partners such as Yodlee, eBay, PayPal, etc. Designed and wrote the queue system that recovers dropped jobs and allows us to run any method that does not require an immediate response asynchronously. Worked with a coworker to design and build a continuous, no downtime deployment system.Helped organize and plan the Mountain View Rubinius day (#rbxday) hackathon.I worked on a small team to improve site performance by evaluating MySQL queries and optimize them.
