• Develop and manage branch communications strategy to optimize Credit Card sales• Ensure operational efficiencies by effectively managing the Branch Channel Budgets and providing detailed analytical support to Credit Card Field Managers• Develop strategies, execution and tactics to support overall Product, Acquisition, and Engagement portfolio strategic plans• Identify and support the development of process and operational efficiency opportunities by optimizing technology, centralization and core process redesign and re-engineering• Produce monthly dashboard and provide in depth analysis of acquisition trends using data modeling, evaluation and performance measurement processes• Execute and deliver plan through development of thorough communication and training tools to influence key stakeholders and to assist in achieving credit card goals• Develop and deliver programs, sales campaigns and all requested reporting to maximize credit card sales and support effective card servicing through the specified channel• Develop and maintain the Credit Card Resource Centre (CCRC) with engaging and educational content• Communicate product launches and provide ongoing support during execution• Liaise with Branches, Team Voice, Ideas in Action, Sales Support and Office of the President • Coordinate and manage updates to policy, process and procedures related to credit cards• Manage inventory and distribution of branded merchandise • Produce bi-weekly tracker and provide in depth analysis of customer impacting trends

-Responsible for overall success of the branch by growing retail business portfolio-Manage the profitability, revenue, customer service, staffing and operations-Execute sales management activities-Provide direction, guidance and support to team members, resolve issues and negotiate compromises-Plan and lead weekly coaching sessions to recognize success, help overcome obstacles and set weekly focus-Review and adjudicate credit applications within policies and authorities-Develop and execute plans to achieve business objective while minimizing exposure to risk-Lead and develop retail team to build and strengthen customer relationships by providing financial advice-Continuous development of employee skills and knowledge through focused coaching-Ensure the achievement of branch objectives through the negotiation, establishment and monitoring of goals-Oversee the implementation of established bank policies, practices, special initiative and procedures (retail lending compliance, Scotia Securities compliance)-Recognize and reward success and manage non-performance

-Contribute to branch success by meeting negotiated goals through effective management of assigned portfolio-Develop opportunities to increase share of wallet from existing portfolios, and generate new customer acquisitions-Provide a full range of customized financial solutions using a financial planning approach focused on building and maintaining long term relationships-Use Advice Tools to formulate and demonstrate the benefit of advice provided and support the solutions recommended with emphasis on meeting the customers long and short term investment needs-Conduct credit risk/adjudication while following policies and processess

-Collection of accounts receivable and promotion/enforcement of Income Tax Act-Plan, prioritize and monitor assigned workload to collect outstanding accounts-Develop strategies to identify income/assets for reconciliation of problem accounts-Conduct risk/financial analysis to determine priority accounts and ability to pay-Develop/review personal budgets while enforcing appropriate policies/procedures

-Financial and administrative lead for six national sites-Develop, implement, and monitor budgets while enforcing financial policies and procedures-Monitor and analyse operational expenditures/accounts receivable for National Office-Create and interpret financial workplan and identify trends and efficiency opportunities-Review and ensure compliance of research contractual obligations-Reconcile expenditures to the general ledger on a monthly basis-Prepare and present financial and progress reports to key stakeholders on a quarterly basis-Create and maintain databases for Lakehead University - Centre of Excellence-Collaborate with the National Research Coordinators’ Committee to produce best practices and quality improvement between all sites-Coordinate information dissemination, roundtables, meetings & teleconferences-Interprofessional collaboration and management of research projects (physicians, professors, researchers, learners, administrators)

-Portfolio management of mid-high worth clients while establishing valued relationships-Review & analyze financial needs while offering appropriate solutions within rules/regulations (Income Tax Act, Canada Custom and Revenue Agency…)-Manage schedule and prioritize tasks while accommodating time sensitive deadlines-Liaise with management and co-workers while mentoring junior members-Apply credit risk/adjudication policies and procedures-Advising clients on investments, deposits, lending, and transactional services products (features, benefits, related pricing policies/procedures)-Utilize interviewing, solicitation, telemarketing and negotiating skills for financial solutions-Ensure regulatory compliance, policies & procedures -> sale of products, storage of information and monitoring of customer relationships (Mutual Fund Sales, Financial Planning, Privacy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, CDIC)-Analysis of diverse information while formulating recommendations quickly
