• Designed a 3D-printed permeable barrier capable of blocking select ranges of acoustic frequencies while still allowing airflow
• Developed a Mathematica script where acoustic transmission was altered by changing the ratios of cross-sectional areas and lengths of sets of resonators and passageways through the barrier
• Tested the barrier along with a control barrier in an anechoic chamber and found that the original barrier reduces acoustic transmission by 20 or more decibels at frequencies from 100-3696 Hz in an open end case and.

• Drafted, modeled, and produced custom test fixtures for devices being prototyped, and used these fixtures to verify the capabilities of the devices
• Developed code for applications in prototype softwares, including a method of detecting and analyzing eye blinks and an algorithm for decoding Aztec barcodes
