Creating operational efficiencies to improve the member experience. Responsible for transforming business processes, serving as a leader in innovation and project management, and regularly analyzing and leveraging organizational data to inform strategy and business decisions. Led internal teams and partnered with vendors to concurrently design, implement, and launch, on-time and on-budget, a new Association Management System (AMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and website.

Responsible for managing various programs and initiatives for PLUS including the development and implementation of programs in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion, Future PLUS and the engagement of members and volunteers. Plans local events and leads work on developing a re-imagined participant experience at the annual conference. Develops content strategy to curate and deliver content to members via various platforms.

Worked closely with the Director General on fulfilling her strategic agenda by managing and preparing for C-level leadership and board meetings; by regularly writing papers and communications to inform and influence; and by managing projects which are sensitive in nature and of strategic importance. Led change management projects from re-organizations to aligning processes. Managed the IB Heads Council, organizing their biannual meetings, conferences, elections process and committee work. As part of that work, I planned and executed three IB Heads World Conferences in Argentina, the Netherlands and Singapore, each with approximately 450 attendees.

Led on a number of cross-divisional technology and change management projects to improve processes for our internal and external stakeholders. My success as a business lead came from my ability to identify dependencies and conduct impact analysis; leading negotiations and consensus building among colleagues located globally; and making informed decisions. Led efforts to improve and standardize business processes and gain efficiencies.

Facilitated the strategic planning processes for the Schools Division, aligned operational policies and processes and supported the COO in the preparation of management and government meetings, including writing and editing C-level papers.

Managed educational courses, seminar offerings and conference sessions, plus administered continuing education credit according to individual state regulations. Instituted a marketing plan which led to increased number of seminars per year from 6 in 2011 to 24 in 2012, reaching over 800 industry professionals.

Balanced advising on the most popular study abroad regions with projects such as supervising our Peer Advisors and their projects; developing and administering short-term and semester programs; and managing our scholarship program. I also introduced International Education Week (IEW) activities to the campus, growing the week’s offerings exponentially in a few years.

Processed applications, facilitated logistical arrangements, and advised students for faculty-led study abroad programs. Managed study abroad fairs, supported the planning and presentation of pre-departure orientations, designed online student evaluations, and created pages for the study abroad website.

Facilitated CEP workshops, providing training for over 1000 participants, and provided administrative support for NAFSA’s Academy for International Education.

Maintained and facilitated expansion of the NAFSA Job Registry and answered all general inquiries via phone and email. Served as liaison for the Leadership Development Committee and Awards Subcommittee.
