My role with Hungry Jack's provided me with thorough training in shift management and food safety.I have gained valuable insight into food service strategies utilised in fast food kitchens.Communicating within the leadership team, with crew on shift, customers, and contractors was essential for effective shifts.Meeting daily, weekly and annual KPIs is a major focus of mine.The position involves management of inventory and workforce, cash control, and confidentiality, demonstrating the responsibility it requires.Planning ahead and thinking on my feet are skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.I also assume the role of Hiring Manager, where I am responsible for identifying talent, conducting interviews and hiring the right personnel for our team.

As Team Leader, I provided support to management through task delegation and leading by example. I attended training courses which allowed me to train new crew with the aim of improving store culture. A strong knowledge of policies and procedures was required.

Working in a large team environment, I was responsible for serving and pleasing customers, and preparing quality food safely.

• Working in the acute renal, vascular and thoracic spaces allowed me to create nutrition care plans for complex patients.• My role in radiotherapy outpatients clinic provided a different side to nutrition care, where building rapport and responding with empathy were key.

• Creating a set-carbohydrate menu for circulation.• Developing recommendations to facilitate changes in the food service system.• Assessment of menu against appropriate guidelines.• Collaborating with and providing education to key stakeholders.

• Condition-specific focus on rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.• Presenting education sessions to Arthritis SA members.• Development of education packages, social media posts, magazine articles, webinars and information sheets aimed to reach individuals living in metro, regional and remote communities.• Liaising with key stakeholders to develop deliverables.• Use of software such as Rise Articulate and Canva pro.

• Created tailored nutrition care plans for patients and clients.• Provided care in a range of settings - inpatient, outpatient, home visits, and outreach clinics to rural towns.• Communicated effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Scoping review regarding the management of refeeding syndrome in adult patients with eating disorders to inform future guidelines for CALHN.• Sourcing peer-reviewed literature, grey literature and procedures in hospitals around Australia.

This role provided me with additional insight into food service systems.
